Pair of Miniature Oxblood Red Laughing Buddha Figurines

A characterful pair of tiny Laughing Buddha, or Budai, figurines finished in a rich oxblood red with dark antiqued detailing.

Although miniature in size, both figures have surprisingly detailed modelling. One raises a traditional ingot above his head, while the larger figure carries a sack and holds an ingot, both with the familiar smiling expression and rounded form associated with Budai.

Their deep red finish and blackened recesses bring out the folds of the robes and small decorative details particularly well.
