Vintage Crown Devon Kitten Cream Jug – “Each Day Holds Its Own Magic”

A charming vintage Crown Devon cream jug decorated with an endearing kitten portrait and the inscription “Each day holds its own magic.”

Made in Staffordshire, England by S. Fielding & Co. Ltd., the jug has a soft cream glaze with attractive overall crazing, a gently shaped pouring lip and handle, and fine gilt edging around the rim.

The Crown Devon backstamp dates this piece to the company’s later production period, circa 1979–1982.
